Veteran-founded performance medicine clinic backs 3,100-mile nonstop flag relay from San Diego to Washington, D.C., spotlighting health, resilience, and a new standard of care for veterans
CANTON, OH — 91WhiskeyRx, a health optimization clinic founded by former Army Ranger Medic and Board-Certified Emergency Physician Dr. Matt Voll, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Old Glory Ultra Relay, a groundbreaking endurance event organized by Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB).
The cross-country relay will feature 12 elite military veterans carrying a single American flag nonstop from San Diego, California to Washington, D.C., covering more than 3,100 miles through 13 states and over 250 communities.
As part of the sponsorship, Dr. Voll will serve as the Team Physician, traveling with the athletes in the support vehicle and providing direct medical care, performance monitoring, and real-time recovery support throughout the journey.
The mission: to set a world record and raise $1 million for veteran health and wellness, while bringing national attention to the strength and resilience of the veteran community.
Backed by Purpose, Built for Performance
91WhiskeyRx is supporting the Old Glory Ultra Relay not only as a sponsor, but as an active medical partner.
Dr. Voll initially volunteered to provide medical support for the team, driven by a personal desire to give back to the veteran community. Once he learned more about Team RWB’s broader mission—empowering veterans to lead a nationwide health and wellness movement—91WhiskeyRx committed to providing full operational support through both sponsorship and care.
The same system he’ll use with these athletes—including lab testing, wearable tracking, and physician-led coaching—is the foundation of 91WhiskeyRx’s approach to personalized care. Designed to fit into demanding lives, the program supports high performers who want to take control of their health without having to put the rest of their life on hold.
By showing up for this team, 91WhiskeyRx aims to support not just this record-setting event, but a larger movement to raise the bar for veteran health and the communities they lead.
More Than a Relay, A Statement of Standards
The Old Glory Ultra Relay reflects the same values 91WhiskeyRx was built on: grit, precision, and the discipline to do things the right way, even when it’s hard. The athletes won’t stop, and neither will the flag, as they move through mountains, deserts, cities, and everything in between, day and night.
“This is personal for us,” said Dr. Voll. “I started this practice after seeing too many people fall through the cracks of a system that forgot how to care. These athletes show up with purpose, no matter the conditions. It’s what we believe in. Iron sharpens iron, and hard people are made by doing hard things. We’re proud to be out there with them.”
