After enlisting and serving as a Special Operations Army Ranger Medic during the GWOT campaigns — running toward the gunfire in Iraq and Afghanistan, patching holes, and keeping the mission moving — Voll brought that same grit and determination into medicine.
Board-certified and battle-tested, he watched for years as the healthcare system failed high performers: labs ordered but never explained, "normal" ranges confused with optimal, and patients sent home with prescriptions instead of answers.
